Best Indian Food in Charlottesville

This was our first time learning of this restaurant, even though it has been open ~3 years. Excellent food and great beverage selection. We had the Copra Kadai lobster (tail meat served in a coconut, onion, and tomato sauce) and the goat biryani rice. Both dishes were gluten-free and allergy-safe. Friendly and attentive service. Modern atmosphere and comfortable seating. We will be returning.

I had an amazing experience at Lazeez Modern Indian Flair. The food was absolutely delicious—full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Every dish we tried exceeded expectations. The service was just as impressive, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dinner. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic, high-quality Indian cuisine. Definitely one of the best spots in the area!

Great ambiance, amazing food and well priced. The presentation was very great, and quantity was good as well. We got the Khumani Kofta, Mirch Masala Paneer as main course and the cheese corn as appetizer. The kofta was soft, creamy and the gravy was delicious. The paneer was a completely different preparation than I have had before, we got it made spicy and it was worth it. Overall very delicious food! Definitely recommend!

Hands down one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve visited. The lassi is their signature and easily the best I’ve ever tasted. Incredible kulchas, delicious paranthas, and top-notch service. A must-visit!

One of the best Indian restaurant In Virginia. Great ambience , service top of the line. Manni pa is amazing - one of the best host who is very enthusiastic to serve and also meet your taste for food. Food was one of the best I ate after long time. Just don't have words as food was authentic, paneer sarson, paneer mirch masala and paratha (bread) was top of the world with fresh butter (with makkhan) - just try - wow- this restaurant reminded me of proper india food.
